their engagement session was seriously something next level for me. i couldn’t stop smiling and just soaking up all the admiration they shared for each other. i mean you should see jimmie’s instagram. it’s basically a shrine of their love. I LOVE IT.

from crashing a wedding (but not really), dancing to frank sinatra, working with the windy weather and using the city lights to our advantage, i’m confident to say they absolutely killed it. jimmie + taylor, you were a ton of fun. can’t wait to document your wedding in october. ♡

couples like this, man. this session is still so special to me. from getting coffee at elemental, capturing their first look in aloft, then heading over to guestroom to pick out some jazz records, and ending the session at sunset on top of a brand spankin’ new parking garage in midtown, this elopement was full of absolute fun and dreaminess.
not to mention that the elvis vibes were all too real in this session!

well, i haven’t blogged anything in 4 months. yikes. i told myself a million times that from now on i need to post 2 sets a month. so of course i’m waiting until the month is almost over to start my 1st blog post. anyways, enough about my terrible procrastination and more about this dime below.

i’m just gonna tell you right now that meg here is some sort of angel. a beast in front of & behind the lens.

when she asked me to shoot her bridals & wedding (freakin’ score), i pretty much flipped out. knowing that a super talented photographer wanted me to capture these moments is seriously the coolest feeling in the world, and for that i am so so grateful.

we explored midtown.
we visited these spontaneous little minimalistic locations that meg knew of.
this shoot really couldn’t be any more perfect.
